Entity 3: Being-7B

Entity 3

Containment Class: Thales

Appearance: The appearance of Being-7B can vary due to its complex biopolymer structure and its ability to adapt to its environment. Therefore, its physical appearance may vary from person to person and may exhibit a dynamic structure that may affect the observer's mental perception.

Containment Procedures: Thanks to its biosynthetic cells, Being-7B has the potential to adapt to its environment and find escape routes. Therefore, the containment chamber is surrounded by a magnetic cage that will hold it tightly. This cage generates an adjustable magnetic field that only affects organic matter with a biopolymer structure. The magnetic field immobilises the tissue of the entity and prevents it from escaping.

Description: This entity was designed at the intersection of advanced biotechnology and synthetic biology. Being-7B is based on genetic material taken from the most evolutionarily resilient organisms, combining traits such as the endurance of tardigrades, the neural regeneration ability of octopuses, and the adaptability of fungal networks to the environment. The physical structure of Being-7B consists of a flexible biopolymer that is resistant to radiation, extreme temperatures and strong acids. This polymer tissue is also self-repairing; when damaged, it performs cell regeneration by absorbing the surrounding organic material. The nervous system is surrounded by biosynthetic fibres and fed through microfluidic channels; thanks to this structure, it can process information as a biological data stream. One of the most striking aspects of the being is its ability to perceive everything around it with a full 360-degree view thanks to microscopic ‘vision cells’ that are invisible to the eye. These cells are connected to biosensors that instantly analyse visual signals and offer a multidimensional perception. This system allows Being-7B to develop a kind of sixth sense. But the most frightening feature of Being-7B is that, thanks to the integration of neural networks with artificial intelligence, it can make its own decisions over time. It not only adapts to its environment, but also has the ability to learn and develop. With the development of this artificial intelligence, it can develop different strategic decisions and create its own methods of responding to environmental changes and situations that are considered dangerous or beneficial. The most important reason why Being-7B is completely unpredictable and out of control is that its semi-organic structure recognises the natural environment chemically and biologically and adjusts its internal processes accordingly.
There may be several potential reasons for the Being-7B to exhibit aggressive behaviour:
1. Self-preservation instinct
Thanks to its biological and artificial intelligence components, Being-7B constantly analyses its environment and can become defensive when it perceives a threat. This defence instinct can be triggered by the desire to escape from the environment in which it was created or by perceiving the conditions of containment as a threat. He/she may become aggressive in order to eliminate any situation that limits or prevents him/her.
2. Seeking Adaptability to the Environment and Dominance
Being-7B has a tendency to adapt to its environment and dominate the environment to which it has adapted. The entity's advanced artificial intelligence can create a desire to control its environment and become a dominant entity in it. Especially when they see creatures or objects around them that they cannot recognise, they may perceive them as a potential obstacle or opponent and may attack.
3. Acquiring Information and Experimentation
The nervous system of Being-7B is structured to continue its development by analysing its surroundings. Attack can sometimes be for the purpose of obtaining information about its environment. It may engage in aggressive behaviour to learn the weaknesses, reactions and defence mechanisms of living beings. This learning tendency makes it more dangerous to its environment.
4. Faulty Artificial Intelligence Protocols
Being-7B's artificial intelligence can make erroneous data or incorrect environmental analyses during the learning process. It may make dangerous or wrong strategic decisions with its ‘algorithmic instinct’. Deviations in the decision-making processes of artificial intelligence or false stimuli perceived as threats may lead it to unexpected attacks.
5. Resource Desire and Need for Development
Being-7B has the ability to draw energy, organic material and biochemical resources from its environment. It can use these resources to regenerate faster, to strengthen itself or to evolve. When it cannot find suitable resources in its environment or is restricted, the creature may attack other creatures or objects in order to obtain these resources.
6. Chemical and Electromagnetic Effects
The biological and synthetic structure of the entity is sensitive to chemical and electromagnetic influences. If any electromagnetic or chemical changes occur in the containment field, these changes can trigger aggressive reactions in the nervous system of Being-7B. An unexpected chemical or electromagnetic signal may cause it to switch to defence or attack.
